About Us
Three Fates Farm is the culmination of a lifelong dream of breeding beautiful examples of America’s Living History–the Morgan Horse. For over 200 years, these kind and stylish horses have been cherished by horsemen of all disciplines for their baroque shape, high intelligence, longevity and versatility. Our TFF prefixed Morgans compete in all divisions and in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017, Lori Sargeant has been honored as theĀ USEF Morgan Breeder of the Year. In 2014, she was Reserve Breeder of the Year to the University of Vermont, the oldest continuous Morgan horse breeding program in existence.
Lori’s love of Morgans was ignited when she purchased the beautiful stallion PKM Gamborian (K-Lyn Gambit x Cherbrook’s Aria, by Windy Hill Maestro) in 2003. She had owned Morgans before, but it was her beloved “Gamby” who steered her down the path of breeding Morgans to fulfill her own ideals. Sadly, time marched on and this grand stallion was laid to rest in 2017, leaving a legacy of TFF Morgans to carry his style, character, athletic ability and wonderful disposition into the future.
Today, Lori enjoys working with her youngsters, as well as showing her very versatile gelding, Three Fates Cheiron, a many time champion and USEF Horse of the Year (and of course a son of Gamborian). She also is very involved in rescuing both Morgans and American Saddlebreds that find themselves in difficult situations.
