If I had written a wish list of features for this foal a year ago, every one would be checked off.

Dembe was Red Reddington’s most trusted and faithful friend in the series “The Blacklist”. He always did the right thing and was a man of high character. I felt this was a great moniker for this lovely colt born on May 17th, 2020. The name means “peace”.

MI Black Ice left us on May 6th, now this beautiful boy has some big shoes to fill while his daddy watches over from above. He is the spitting image of his sire, with just a bit more refinement provided by his gorgeous dam, WRR Notorious, who is a daughter of World Champion sire Astronomicallee, and out of a mare with Serenity Masterpiece, Noble Flaire and Maple Ridge Juliette (by Chasley Superman) as grandparents.

This extraordinary black colt is a fitting tribute to his late sire. The circle of life continues.
